You Don't Have Time to Skip Breakfast.

When you skip breakfast, your body thinks it's starving.  It goes into emergency conservation mode. By the time you decide to feed it, it grabs hold of every calorie and puts it in storage for later.

A cup of coffee and a donut is not breakfast.  It's a shot of amphetamines.  It gives you energy with no nutrients; not only will it have you running around like a headless chicken (complete with an aching neck), you will crash.  This is not happiness.

Breakfast: oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar, nuts, coconut and a cup of tea.

Breakfast: multi-grain bagel with cream cheese and tomato, orange juice, coffee.

Breakfast: a whole grain, a protein, a good fat, a fruit and/or a vegetable--and yes, a caffeinated beverage of your choice.  (As long as it's not soda.)
