Why Meditate?

Clarity.

Even in good times--and we're not in good times--things change.  Change is confusing. Confusion happens when the brain is forced to re-map itself.

Meditation creates space in your mind.  When you meditate, you break the cycle of panic, circular thinking, anger, grievance.  You rest your brain.

A spacious, rested mind can think more clearly.  It knows the right thing to do next, spontaneously.
